Tree Services FAQ

When Is Tree Removal Necessary?

If a tree is dead or dying, it's time to consider removal. Damage from pests, disease, and environmental conditions can reside within the tree and quickly spread to other areas of your landscaping. Additionally, a tree may require removal if it has grown too large or the root system has overgrown, causing a safety issue for your family and your home.

Do I Have To Be Present During Removal?
You do not need to be home for the process as long as you can provide our team of arborists with access to the property. We will work with you and your schedule to ensure we can get the job done as quickly as possible.
What Is Stump Grinding?

Stump grinding is a technique performed by a specialized machine and a professional operator to remove a tree stump. The stump grinding machine uses a rotating disc to cut into and around the base of the stump. This cuts through its roots and lifts it up off of the ground. The operator can then use the machine to grind up all remaining pieces or chip them into smaller pieces for easy removal.

How Do I Promote Healthy Tree Growth?
There are several things you can do to ensure your tree stays healthy. Watch out for any disease or decay, trim and prune the tree regularly to promote healthy growth, don't overwater the tree as it may damage the roots, and avoid over fertilizing. Arbor Pro Tree Service offers soil testing so you can know exactly what the tree requires to grow to its fullest potential.
What Is The Difference Between Pruning And Trimming?

Trimming ensures that your shrub or hedge will grow ideally by eliminating overgrown branches and brush. Pruning removes dead, loose, or infected branches so the tree or shrub can flourish properly.

We offer both of these services at Arbor Pro Tree Service—contact us today to discuss more.

What Is The Best Time Of Year For Tree Pruning?
The best time of year to trim or prune a tree or shrub is during its dormant season—fall and winter. Pruning is best during this time because the tree or shrub will be less likely to react to the trimming with excessive new growth. The only exception is if the tree is a hazard, in which case you may need to prune at any time in the year.
Will There Be A Mess Left Behind?
After removing your trees, we will always clean up after ourselves to ensure that your lawn is left as undisturbed as possible.
